Pansy was surprised at the length of time it took Millicent to agree to let her in, and she was beginning to wonder if she would have to get even pushier to get her way. But finally the door opened enough that she could get in.
Pansy looked around, trying not to show that the clutter and mess was a little unnerving to her. 'You know, darling, I could send over an elf from the Inn, if you need help. All you had to do was ask,' she reminded Millicent.
She found a place she could sit and moved some parchment and a book out of the way before she perched.
'Alright, what's going on?' she asked without preamble. 'I have to force you to spend time with me. You look ghastly, and not just in a style sort of way. Even Ella is worried about you. You know you can trust me, darling, you have years and years of dirt on me to hold over my head....'
She narrowed her eyes. 'And before you think about trying to persuade me that nothing is wrong, I can and will bring Draco next time because I know you well enough to know you can't lie to him....'
