Pansy smiled at how interested in the biscuits Ella was. Polly had recently discovered biscuits, and it was all Pansy could do to keep Hilly from sneaking some to her whenever she could. They had had to speak quite sternly to Hilly and tell her it could make Polly sick to have so many biscuits every day.
Ella was already answering before swallowing, and Pansy admonished mildly, 'Don't choke, dear princess!'
Ella swallowed and resumed her answer. 'Liam told you how babies are made?' she repeated. Did she want to know what his thoughts were? Given what she knew of Miles, little Liam might have too good an idea of from where they actually came so she decided against inquiring.
'Yes, dear, you have Princess Polly, and you're the only big princess sister she's got, you know,' she pointed out. 'But why shouldn't we tell your mummy or daddy about it?' she asked curiously.
