Cass closed his eyes as Percy laid down next to him, feeling calmer the moment Percy's body was flush against his and he had the comfortable weight of his arm across his chest.
'I wouldn't be doing nothing, Percy, I'd get another job,' he said. 'It's not like we didn't know it might come to this one day,' he added. He laid silent for a short while, enjoying the feel of Percy so close to him.
'Morag actually mentioned the possibility of working for her if this should happen,' he then said softly. 'When she found out about us.'
'Not that I know what she wants me to do, but it would be one option. And I could always tell Harry I want to join the Order to fight,' he added, glancing over at Percy. 'That would give you some insights to what they're doing, that ought to make you calmer,' he added with a small smirk. It wasn't ideal, but neither had his parents' arrangement been. They still made it work, he and Percy could do the same.
'I know it doesn't solve everything, but you have to admit, it does solve most of it,' he said. 'If you come up with a better way then I'm all ears, as long as it involves us actually trying to make it work.'
