Cass made a face at the response, knowing it was logical but not liking it any better for it. He liked Percy's next response even less, because he knew he'd injured Percy, even if it wasn't physically. He kept his mouth shut at this too, though, not wanting to stir anything up or make Percy move from the bed. He liked having him close.
Instead he focused on Percy's third answer, biting his lip. 'Not Ginny?' he asked, thinking she would be the one who would most protect Percy, then again a part of him was grateful. He didn't need Percy finding out that he'd once had sex (quite regularly) with his sister and that risk was always there if he chose Ginny.
'I guess either would work,' he then said. 'If you trust them. I'd suggest Susan if it wasn't so well known that she's close to me.' He sighed. 'She knows about mum by the way,' he added. 'I told her when she was here yesterday. She found Sabina - mum's cat - in my flat when I ended up here and was more than curious as to why she was there.'
He wasn't sure Percy would hold it against her or not, but he was past the point of keeping anything from him at this point. No matter the consequences.
'Let's just say that she was almost as happy as you were when I told her.'
