Terry's heart stopped pounding when Stephen said that Ben was in his room. "Good, that's good," he said, guilt over falling asleep starting to rise. "The mess doesn't matter." He couldn't believe he'd been sleeping so long. It had been just after one when he'd returned home, so that meant more than two hours he'd left Ben unsupervised.
He yawned again, and sat up fully. He was glad to see that the tremors had gone, at least for now, and turned his attention to Stephen. He hated to see the concern on his friend's face, he'd never meant to make anyone worry.
"I finished the warding on the Auror building today," he explained. "I guess it took more out of me than I'd anticipated. I'm fine now. Still tired, but nothing I can't function through."
