Percy stood up and began to pace. "By everything do you mean he knew we're lovers? There is no way on earth that he could have known that, Cass. No way, not unless you told someone, because there is no way to know what we do inside the house and I can assure you that I have not told anyone. I don't have anyone to tell. Whatever he knew, it must be bluffing or guessing or... I don't know, but he couldn't have known, not for sure. The most they could know is that you live with me; they might even make assumptions, but there is no way for them to know."
That was all irrelevant at this point, because no matter what they knew Cass had given them some kind of confirmation. "I'll need information about your mother. Maybe we can investigate it, keep it away from the Muggles and keep it discrete as well."
He shook his head, obviously angry. "I'd say that only an idiot would come up with such stupid story and you aren't an idiot, but you've already proven that you are an idiot. How was fucking around supposed to help your mother again?" He snorted. "Never mind, I don't even want to hear more stupidity."
