Dennis had been expecting Luna to run a little scared - people usually did when he mentioned he was a vampire. Hestia had, and Colin - well, what could he say about his brother.
But Luna seemed to just think it was all a tragedy, and that his new... abilities... were simply something interesting to study. This lack of basic fear for her own life intrigued him, and he intended to play hard on it.
His eyes sparkled mischievously at her as she seemed more nervous about dancing than about being there with him. "Oh Luna, you just have to let yourself go to the beat. Nobody cares what you look like, so long as you just have a great time."
The dance floor was busy, and it was impossible to move without touching someone. Dennis wasn't exactly the world's best dancer, but he knew how to move in time, and just how to bump and grind with the music.
It was all too easy to brush up against Luna, just enough to let her know that he was showing interest. If she wasn't interested in anything, then he could just blame the crowd. Even as he kept his focus on Luna, he didn't fail to notice the other girl he'd been eyeing, and how she was doing the same to him as she danced with others.
As a slower song came on, Dennis let his hand casually fall to Luna's waist, his face watching hers to see what reaction he'd get.
