It was easy for her to forget that he wasn't human at times. Like now, as they sat close talking about the music - and occasionally he would remind her, like now. It was hard to think that he didn't have a heartbeat, not as he was walking and talking like anyone else in the club.
And far from being scared of him - as she probably should have been - those little reminders only served to make her all the more intrigued by him. Everything about him was fascinating.
She laughed when he pulled her up from the booth and steered her toward the floor. "I've never danced to this sort of music, you know." She reminded him as they made their way through the crowded floor.
But even as she said that she could feel the music coursing through her, like it flowed though her veins and let herself start moving with it.
