Dennis managed a little chuckle when she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "Of course I do. Trust me," he winked and grinned as he took hold of her arms.
"Best close your eyes." She might feel a little disoriented if she left them open. "Don't want you to feel ill."
Looking over her shoulder, he ignored her racing heartbeat as he held firmly, taking off in a fast run. They were past the apparition checkpoint too quickly for anyone to notice, and a minute later they were a few miles out of town. Dennis could sense the magic of the wards ending, and he stopped near a boulder, just in case Luna needed to rest.
He wasn't at all tired, if anything, the run made him feel a little stronger. "You okay?" he asked in concern, looking at her with wide open eyes filled with concern. "You still going to be okay to apparate, or do you need a minute?"
