Dennis held a triumphant smirk when Luna decided to go upstairs and change. He continued to stir, knowing just how long to keep the potion on the heat, although the thought of the flames did not enamour him to the task.
All the while his mind was ticking over. This little farce was to keep himself in town, keep him on Luna's good side, and possibly somehow get ahead. He knew that alienating everyone had been a big mistake - he needed allies if he were to keep up appearances.
But he still wondered just what he could do. Luna was definitely very beautiful, and he knew from the reaction that there could easily be an attraction there. What if he wanted more? A food donor, a lover, perhaps even someone he could convince to turn?
Dennis knew not to get ahead of himself just yet. Cementing himself in her trust was important. He waited patiently as she got dressed, hoping she wouldn't take too long. He was starving now, and knew he'd need to get a meal for himself sooner rather than later.
Seeing her come back down the stairs just as he turned off the heat under her cauldron, he smiled. "Well this one's ready, I think. You look great!"
"You going to be okay to apparate us both?" He bit at his lip, hoping she was good at side-along apparition.
