Dennis listened cordially as she spoke long and wistfully about her customers, and her day. Was it any wonder people used to call her Loony Lovegood? She had such an... odd... perspective on things, and it actually did amuse him.
He thought about heading out and having a cigarette as she worked on her potions, but then she spoke of his brother. For a moment his eyes flashed darkly, but he restrained himself from growling.
"You didn't tell him I was here, did you?" he said in a scared little voice. "I seriously don't think he'd be happy if he knew. He'd probably yell at you first - tell you I'm evil and dangerous."
He looked at her expectantly, and hoped she hadn't said anything. Even so, he was already thinking of a contingency plan, should he need to flee.
