He spoke of Gabbi as if she were some great hero, and she wondered if maybe Guilian had begun confusing the good she'd done for him with what little she managed to do for mankind. It was nice to be flattered, but she did not want to be overestimated. The girl knew she was beautiful, but was honestly quite poor at magic outside of the aesthetic kind. The world needed more pretty people, yes, but it also needed more fighters like Fleur and Cassius Vaisey.

Gabrielle loved food, and when her salad was placed before her, she began regretting the order. She wanted to look healthy and feminine, but she knew she would be hungry again before they even left. The blonde wanted to show off her French manners, but could do little to hide her desire. The result was an eating method clean and polite, yet with unnecessary speed.
Several mouthfuls had been consumed before she even realized she had been asked a question. Not wanting to talk with her mouth full, she sipped from her wine before smiling, "Oui, my Fleur 'as taught me to dance wonderfully, too!" She moved her head, tossing her hair behind her, before grinning, "Pair'aps you can impress me?"
