At her own compliments, he smiled, brushing away a speck of invisible dust from his cuff. "Why thank you. I've always liked to surround myself with the finest of things." It was true, and even though he was in such a provincial village, he didn't feel any need to 'dress down'.
When she asked him to help with the corsage, he easily played with the small pin, placing it around her wrist as he grabbed her hand. She had style, and a unique flair as she closed the door, impressing herself.
Taking her arm, they walked briskly to the club. Guilian had a spring in his step all the way, his mood so relaxed in her presence. "I must thank you ever so much for the recording you sent me. Your voice is truly amazing - you are a natural!"
They were almost at the club when Guilian saw a reasonable crowd heading to the seemingly popular venue. "Have you thought about how you will distribute your songs yet? I mean, other than giving copies to men who offer up a kiss and a smile?"
