"I am not freaking out," Adrian replied, almost resignedly before he perked up a little. "And fine, what did he say? I don't care if you could or couldn't deal with them, I still want to know. You've told me this much, you might as well tell me what he said."
He snickered at the mention of the books, remembering that encounter. "Do you know it's nearly been a year since then? Or eleven months at any rate. Still, you didn't plan on me walking along and ruining your fun with the books though, did you?"
Adrian smiled slightly, leaning up to kiss him. "I only want you. God, you know I love you so much. I really would do anything for you, so much so that it scares me sometimes," he murmured.
"Mmm, I like the way you think," he said with a wicked smirk. "Okay, a weekend sounds good. A weekend means you're taking me somewhere. Don't think the talk of early gifts will distract me though. It totally won't."
