"Italy is beautiful, and warm, and sunny- but it's so lonely." She laughed as Pansy teased her about her husband. Now, sitting here pregnant it was hard to remember that they hadn't wanted this at first, that they'd fought their marriage.
"Oh Pansy, I can't tell you how happy I am to be here," she assured her.
She couldn't help but laugh at Pansy's exclamation. "Well, darling, I'm glad you don't think of me as vain... you're probably the only person I know who feels that way," she winked. Of course, she probably wasn't quite as vain as Pansy was... "Thank you, I'll try. It's not easy though- with all of this weight..."
Verity was so proud of Marlowe as he minded his manners even once he was told that Liam was here. Her own face lit up at the news, happy for him.
"Of course you may, Marlowe. You should ask him to introduce you to the other children, darling." She smiled sweetly at him and nodded that he may be excused. She knew she didn't need to remind him to behave himself- he always did.
