Padma's smile warmed brightly as she saw Pansy, returning the hug warmly. "And you too my dear. Why you're almost positively glowing!"
Nathaniel seemed to know he was being praised by Pansy (he'd never had anyone say a bad thing to him anyway), and he instantly reached out to grab for Pansy's hair, mesmerised by it. "Oh dear," Padma chuckled. "He's still at that very grabby hands stage. He knows what he wants and he just goes for it, I'm afraid."
"Bit like his father, really. And yes, he is no longer my little baby boy." He just seemed to grow every single day, and she almost found it hard to believe he was so tiny when he was born.
She looked down and gave Polly a wide smile as she saw her. "Well, you were right, Pansy, she is rather fond of that word. Is she walking already?" Padma could hardly believe it. "Where does the time go?"
"Hello Polly, I'm Padma, it's a pleasure to meet you."
