Remus chuckled and lightly kissed the tip of the piggish nose, then placed a second one to her normal nose once she had reverted back. Remus couldn't tell what exactly was going through her head, but he had a feeling he wasn't going to like it.
"Oh no you don't." Remus said sharply. "That was a jokish idea. Not for me to put some hairbrained scheme in your head. I know you could do it, but at the same time... there's a line." The words hung before him but he couldn't bring himself to say them. The longer they were married, the more other things began to seep into the back of his head. The desire to protect and the want (god, he was shocked at this part) of his own children. "If you go off on that scheme, if they don't kill you, I will."
Again, Remus kissed he cheek. "Can you honestly see your aunt cooing to a newborn child," Remus asked, arching a brow. "I'm sure the child will be raised by a nanny or a governess." Remus nuzzled her cheek, either in an attempt to distract or comfort -- he wasn't sure which. "In the box, love. Doesn't mean you can't pull it out and look at it from time to time. But dwelling won't solve anything and I know, deep down, you know I'm right."
