Dora made a face almost immediately. "I'm not getting stitches, so you can forget about that, thank you." She reached over and grabbed his apple up too take a bite. He'd bragged about it being so good after all, and so she had to try it for herself.
"Thanks," she said once he'd finished her arm. It wasn't likely she'd have done it so neatly herself and it looked so much better without the redness showing through. "I'm very hungry. They don't give you much in the shack." Dora wrinkled her nose again; she was glad to have gotten out of there.
"We've got to talk anyway," she said, sighing. "You know we do."
