"Me being unreasonable gives me a really unfair advantage," Adrian pointed out. "People expect me to be an arsehole and therefore offer me more if they want my help."
Adrian kissed Stephen again, listening when his husband spoke although he did flick his eyes down to watch his lips just to prove his point. "Sorry, were you saying something?" he teased. "Stephen, half of the girls are still doodling Mrs. Stephen Cornfoot in their notebooks and I'm sure there's a few boys drooling over you too. It's a good job I'm too devastatingly gorgeous to even think about leaving or we'd have a problem."
He curled closer to Stephen when he moved to the side, letting Stephen's arm wrap around him. "We're starting with one and we'll see," he said, already nervous enough about fucking up with one child. Two were bound to send him prematurely grey. "It would have been fun, I suppose, but if it had been a boy, I'd have probably been replaced as heir so maybe not so fun."
