Val had struggled near the end of her hug, she knew that the four year old didn't understand why she was so desperate not to let go, and only really wanted to go play with Lee; but her concern was so great- her worry so thick, if she didn't return home... No she wouldn't think about it.
Giving Shae a last kiss to the forehead he smiled at her, and she knew it was more because he was learning the muscles of his face then because he saw her; but it didn't matter, it would be enough to keep her from strangling the old toad if it came to that- his sweet little chubby smile.
Thanking Lee one last time, she left with a determined gait, not worrying about Jensen as she'd already given him a quiet good bye in the study where he'd sat writing furiously as he always seemed to be doing now that he was home.
She'd wondered about the meeting place, Umbridge's house; her personal home, it gave her a jolt of fear she quickly masked. She'd been a god-damn hitwitch prior, she'd dealt the politicians, dealt with Umbridge (in a round-about-sense), this should be no different. Even if it completely was....
When she got there, the door that spanned in front of her looked more like a shop then the picket white fence of a home she'd expected. The sight sent her more at ease. It was near the middle of town, apparently much more of an office then a home- she would not be able to dispose of her easily this way...
Hestia hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do however; it looked like an office a shop- but she'd known it was Umbridge's personal home... Propriety won out and so knocked, feeling silly as she did so, then dropping her hands, smoothing them down her robes in an almost nervous gesture.
