Miles knew that if he mentioned her castle, or her jewels, or something that was tangibly Lettie, he'd always get her to hook into some sort of memory. Just as well he knew her that well, wasn't it?
"That's right - you don't like babies, or marriage. It's why we get on so well. We both like to just have fun when we want it." He leaned a little closer to you. "Lettie, was he forcing you to do something against your will?" Miles was already wanting to rip the man's throat out and hex his bollocks to a rabid dog for what he had already done to her.
There was always mystery about what Lettie did when she went away, but Miles normally had a 'don't ask, don't tell' attitude towards that. It kept Lettie happy if he didn't ask. Now, he was just curious because of the fact it would help her to regain important memories.
"You haven't seen him because someone hit you with a modified memory charm, and you were in hospital for a month. And they sent you home to England. Do you remember anyone else? Monty? Ver? Ginger? Liam?" He'd even settle for her remembering that bastard Higgs right now.
