"Good," she replied. "Because if I find out you've been doing anything illegally or encouraging Miles, I'll be going to your boss. I don't appreciate my memory loss being a 'case' or a 'report'. It's my problem."
She nursed her glass of whiskey, taking only the smallest of sips. "I used to play when I was younger too. That and when I was away those five years. I made friends with a guy who owned some pool halls and we used to play all the time. I enjoyed it," she admitted with a small smile. "I haven't played in a while though."
She smiled at him. "I think you would have had to rethought your stance on losing if I was playing at my usual standard."
