Cass grinned when Miles greeted him, flopping down into one of the sofas. 'I told you, she's a natural - no accidents,' he said, almost tempted to add that she got off brilliantly, but deciding that such a comment would only be rude and kept it to himself.
When Miles said that Lettie wasn't up yet, he only nodded. 'Best to let her sleep,' he said instead. 'She'll come down when she feels she's ready - and for once I actually have a day off,' he grinned.
'Tea would be great,' he said, almost rolling his eyes at Miles way of staring at the elf. Even he knew they weren't mind-readers.
