"And just who do you support in all this conflict, father?" Guilian let an ounce of his temper show. "It's not enough that you practically threw Damian at them, you know." He couldn't help but throw that fact in his father's face, giving him a solid look that defied his father's disappointment.
"Can you accept that I just made a decision for myself, for once, that doesn't necessarily match your own plans for me?"
He wasn't going to get frustrated, and at the back of his mind he knew that it was everything, and more, that he deserved. But when Don brought up his 'little problem' with dark magic, he actually heard it giggling and smirking in the back of his mind.
You can kill him you know. It was a very fleeting thought that went through his mind, but even Guilian knew it was the darkness talking, and not his own thoughts.
There would be no arguing on this, and he just sighed. "It's too late for that, father." Looking closely at his father, he wanted him to see the darkness that was there, to let him know that he would be best to walk away now, and just leave him be.
