Fittings were always an ordeal for Gabrielle, and this one was the most serious of the entire day. The dress went on rather quickly and fit her like a glove- normally enough to warrant immediate purchase. With this garment, though, Gabbi wanted to see EVERYTHING, and managed to stare at herself from all feasible angles. She tested standing on her toes (as if wearing higher heels), she sat down to see how the fabric draped about her, and she zipped and unzipped the entire thing several times. She had been in love immediately, but was almost trying to convince herself that something couldn't be so perfect.
Quite a while later, at last content, she found Morag amongst the shoes. For an instant, Gabrielle wondered if she should put the dress back on to show Morag, but decided against it. The girl beamed from ear to ear, and did not bother to check the price before handing the yellow and orange piece over for payment.
"Ze boys bettair watch out," she winked. "Oh, la~! Deed you find anyzing while you were waiting?" She was talking to Morag, but staring immovably at the gown as it was gently folded, lovingly wrapped, and placed into a shiny bag.
