Morag kept telling herself she had to adjust her idea of appropriate clothing. She was pregnant and what she liked would, for the most part, not be wearable as she got bigger. And after that, she'd be a mum and shouldn't be wearing such things.
She was totally going to be wearing such things when she lost the baby weight, she told herself, completely contradicting herself, and she really hoped that having an argument inside her own head was an effect of the pregnancy because otherwise, she was in big trouble!
She did, however, find a maternity boutique that had things she could tolerate (she might have even liked a few of the things only she wouldn't admit it), and that gave her a place to use in the future. She also managed some time in a bookstore, though she tried to hurry, purchasing an armful of books on pregnancy and raising children that she had to stuff into a bag with a wizarding space charm on it to be able to carry it the rest of the day.
Her feet were beginning to hurt, and she decided the walk from the Morrigan to Hogsmeade was far easier than shopping, but then Gabrielle got that look and that note of excitement in her voice, and Morag could only smile. 'But, of course,' she agreed easily. Walking behind Gabrielle, she held her noise and blew to try to clear her ears.
And Kevin complained about her voice when she was excited!
As they entered the shop, Morag noticed the dress that must have caught Gabrielle's eye. 'Oh, yes,' she agreed with a grin. 'Try it on....'
