She seemed quite shocked by his lack of reflection. "Yeah, it was a bit hard to get used to," he admitted truthfully, self consciously running a hand through his hair. "I have no idea if I look good, or naff." But he finished it off with a bit of a smile.
Again, he was careful about how he answered, nodding slowly. "Yeah, but I don't think it's for me. That's where most of the really bad vampires are. In lairs. I tried to track down the vampire who..." He shrugged. "But they fight with each other, and that's not for me." Truth be told, he really did like being on his own. He didn't have to share any of his kill.
"Don't think you have to keep me company," he said quietly. "I might just scour your bookcases and get a few good books to read. I'm pretty quiet. You'll barely know I'm here. And then just when you get up, I'll be off to bed." He gave another smile.
"Thanks Luna. You honestly don't know how much this really means to me. Truly."
