Terry pouted up at Ernie, but a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He loved seeing this silly, playful side of Ernie. He hoped it meant that Ernie was becoming more comfortable with them, with himself.
"Not hungry," he said petulantly, then grinned in triumph as Ernie lay down on the bed. "Not sleepy either." He giggled when Ernie pretended to snore, and rolled so that he was pressed against Ernie's side. He draped an arm over Ernie's waist and snuggled his head on Ernie's shoulder.
"This is nice though," he said, stroking Ernie's arm softly. Their closeness did nothing to hide the shaking of Ernie's hands, or the pounding of his heart. "We could stay just like this for awhile and it'd be perfect."
