Terry gladly took Ernie's offered hand, shamelessly pressing himself against the other man's side as they walked towards the tree-house. "Still, Ben loves it and it was a very thoughtful thing to do," Terry said, wanting Ernie to take the compliment that was offered. "So thank you."
He rested his head against Ernie's shoulder and wound an arm around Ernie's waist as they watched Bob bound up the hidden stairs so he could join his boy. He waved up as Ben beamed over the side at them, before he and Bob continued exploring the tree-house and the newly revealed hidden staircase.
"That will keep him busy for awhile," Terry murmured against Ernie's ear. "Why don't you show me where I'll be sleeping. You can help me unpack." He had no intention of actually unpacking of course, but it was as good an excuse to get Ernie alone as any. They really hadn't had much time together in recent weeks, and Terry had missed being close to Ernie, even if they didn't do anything more than kiss one another.
