"I know exactly the sort of person you mean," Antonin replied with a smile. "I've spent a bit of time on our plantation and had the most interesting talks with some of the elders. Not the sort of thing that would be approved of in polite British society, you understand," Antonin winked at the young man, "but I learned some very interesting spells by keeping my mouth shut for a change and letting them talk."
"Most blood magic is strong," Antonin nodded. "The problem in the so-called modern world is that almost any blood magic gets called dark magic, without looking at the intent of the caster or the purpose of the spell. They loose so much of the old magic that way."
