Pansy still felt that Harry was being maligned, and she didn't much care for it. 'They have leadership! Good leadership!' she protested. Minerva McGonagall had always been very good to her, in a strict sort of way, of course, and she'd come to admire the woman. And she was sure that Harry was a good leader. People tended to follow him so he must be!
Her bottom lip stuck out in a pout, and Polly, sensing her mum's upset, perhaps, made an inquiring 'No' as she looked quizzically at Pansy. 'It's okay, baby,' Pansy assured her daughter, reaching out to stroke her back soothingly.
Antonin soon had Polly screeching with laughter, and Pansy had to smile, in spite of her miff. Her eyes grew wide, and she reached out to stop Polly from falling, even though she trusted Antonin not to drop her daughter. 'Everybody wants power, don't they....' she sighed.
'You seem very wise about children,' Pansy noticed. 'I bet you will make a wonderful father.' She wasn't as sure about that heathen he'd married, but the child would be stuck with her, she supposed.
'Muggle books,' she advised. 'There aren't really any decent and current books about babies and raising children by wizarding folk,' she told him. 'But the Muggles have tons of them and they're dead useful.' She followed as she was led to the tables of food. 'And the Superhero, errr, Terry Boot. He's a good resource. And Tracey Malfoy. But only if your wife has a problem-free pregnancy, otherwise Tracey's far too lucky to bear,' she added sourly. Two complication free pregnancies just wasn't fair!
She looked up, thinking she probably shouldn't say such a thing, but Pansy was rarely anything if not brash. 'When your wife is pregnant, don't just pamper her and ignore the bedroom stuff,' she advised. 'That is a big mistake.' It had certainly led her astray....
