While Gabrielle was used to men making not-so-subtle attempts at touching her hair and the like, Lee's hand on her shoulder quickened her heart just a small bit. He was all sorts of tall, dark, and handsome... though definitely lacking the suave mystery that usually came with the look. In fact, he was kind of goofy. Goofy-cute. Cute-goofy. Eh, se dégonfler, silly thoughts!!
She did not dwell on the feeling at all, as much stronger was the excitement building over music-making. "La~! You are so vairy kind to be offairing your 'elp so quickly!" She was almost hesitant to accept his offer, as she was used to being promised the moon simply because of the way she sparkled. He seemed better-intentioned than that, though, and she wanted a career so badly...
"Wiz zis war, all I want eez for people to be 'appy, and, ehm... zough eet sounds selfeesh, I zink zat I am ze best for ze job!" She placed her hands on her hips, posing royally for her audience of one. "Anyzing you can do eez magnifique, really. Playing my songs..." she tilted her head to the side, letting her ponytail catch the light. The desire to push her luck and ask for more favors grew, even though Lee hardly knew her and it was wrong to use her 'talents' for gain. "...endorse zem, 'and zem out to ze people on ze street..."
It wasn't asking a lot, but really, she shouldn't have been asking at all. He was a nice gentleman, but he owed her nothing.
