"I'm sure your father's a very good pirate, especially if he's protecting your mum Daphnee and your new sister" was all she said instead, not wanting to ask anything horribly volatile. Besides, she had plenty of 'bad pirates' in her own family.
"We water nymphs are a tough bunch, I'll tell you," she went back to the safer subject. "I have plenty of faces to go through. I could come up with something to scare them off."
