A peel of laughter escaped Dora's lips at Liam's demands. She wasn't laughing at him. No, it was more that really, this sort of unbridled enthusiasm unhindered by anything having to do with Dolores Umbridge was very, very refreshing.
As requested, she scrunched her nose once more and quickly changed it so that it resembled a pig's snout. "I don't think it's very attractive," she confided in the boy, "but it's fun for a bit of a lark." And then, once he'd had a chance to see, she changed it back to it's normal and pert appearance.
Her grin widened when he talked about his broom, which was apparently quite real. "I dare say your daddy's right about flying too high, though it does sound as if you know what you're doing," she chuckled. "Could be you're suited for the sky, and me the waters. But, I think I've found that chocolate cake suited for both of us..."
She kept her eyes from growing too wide as they set upon the cake. Eagerly, she fetched them both plates.
