Pansy bristled slightly, feeling that Harry was being maligned. Her face set, she snapped, 'Just because they aren't professional...soldiers...doesn't mean their hearts aren't in the right place!'
'And he is,' she said with absolute certainty. 'He's the best thing to ever happen to me other than Polly. And just as unexpected.' She believed that with her whole heart.
She did hope that it would all end soon. It felt like her life was on hold, and she was ready for it to go on.
Pansy sniffed and graciously took his arm. 'You'd like that, baby, wouldn't you?' she said to Polly. 'Something that will make a lovely mess so Mummy can be all embarrassed and feel like she doesn't teach you manners...'
Polly squealed and babbled her favorite word at the top of her lungs, over and over.
Pansy rolled her eyes. 'You don't have children yet, do you?' she said to Antonin. 'Take my advice and don't let them learn that word. They use it far too often....'
