Easier said than done, though she didn't say that aloud. Instead she forced another small smile onto her lips. "I'll try not to." Though she knew it was going to be on her mind for a good long time.
"That's really about it, I think..." Dora trailed off, rolling her eyes mostly at her own silliness. She didn't want to talk about the depression, the fight, or everything else on her mind. It would only lead to a lull in the conversation.
"Thank you again, though," she said sincerely, though her voice was soft. She looked at his hand on her shoulder, realising that she'd not had anyone so father like since her own father's passing. "I guess we'll just see what happens. I'm certainly not going to stop anything..."
