Theo was just finishing up some letters for the day, hoping that among them would be one from Higgs, but none so far. There were letters from France though, and the Goblins there seemed to finally start coming around to his point of view. They weren't happy with the new Minister, but all the more happy as Theo had been able to tell them that her involvement in the bank-project was less prominent than the last Ministers.
He had just sat back to read a rather lengthy letter from one of his informants, when a sound startled him and made him draw his wand. The sight that met him as he looked up however had his mind swirling.
Romilda Vane.
He eyed her for a moment, wondering if he should be worried that she'd haunt him, but in his life he had never had any reason to fear Romilda (rather the opposite) and he just couldn't bring himself to be afraid of her now. Besides, what harm could a ghost do?
'You're right,' he said instead, sheeting his wand. 'I didn't expect to see you. It's funny, Liam never mentioned that you were a ghost.'
He eyed her again, shaking his head. 'Why are you here, Romilda?' he then asked, calmly, placing the letter on the desk and leaning back in his chair.
