Miles had been thinking about telling Liam after they had been to see Goldstein, but Daphne made sense. No point in worrying Liam needlessly. "Oh yeah," he nodded. "Don't need anyone else worrying needlessly."
He could see she didn't like the idea of not apparating, and held a little smirk. "Well it's portkey, or it's broom." He knew that was no contest, and that she disliked fast brooms. It would be a hellishly long trip by broom to Hogsmeade, so there was only one choice.
"Perfect. Bring them in here and we can talk to Liam before we go." Turning back to the items on his desk, he found an old cork from a wine bottle. That would do. They could buy another portkey home from Hogsmeade.
