His hearing was the only reason he managed to hear what she had muttered under her breath. Her words hurt him more than he would ever let on and all he could do was look down at his hands. Remus had warned her of all this when they got married. He told her... "Are you regretting running off and marrying me now?" he asked softly before he could stop himself.
