"As if she'd not have us locked up for even having the thought of having children," Dora spat out bitterly. The rate things were going, she was exceedingly surprised, though glad, that some fuss had been raised over Bill and Fleur's. She couldn't imagine Umbridge being happy to welcome the child of a werewolf into the world. Dora didn't even know if it had happened before.
She shook her head to clear it, trying to get back in the correct frame of mind. "It's two million pounds, Remus," she said, staring at him as he sat down. Their clothes were still in her hands. "Two million pounds. I don't even know what that sort of money looks like, much less what it looks like an Galleons. Like I said, I don't want to take it, but it means you don't have to register." The second bad was only growing in size as Dora stuffed more things in.
"I know the school is important. I love it too, but... we can't stay here and let her ruin our lives. I don't know how much more of her I can take," she said. "And I can't even... Merlin, I don't even think I'd want to bring a child into her world."
