It was late afternoon by the time Remus made his way down from the castle and to their home. He had reformed and burned the letter a good twenty times over the course of the afternoon, more for something to do and to take the edge off than anything else. He was bloody pissed still but he also knew there was little he could do to change the situation. He'd have to register and that was all there was to it. If he wanted to keep his wife and his job, he'd have to acquiesce to this request.
No matter how much it pained im to do so.
He entered their house and he could hear sounds coming from upstairs. "Dora?" he called out, slowly ascending the steps. "Are... is everything alright?" he entered their bedroom and he saw her... packing. Remus's stomach sunk to his toes.
"Where... where are you going?" he asked softly, afraid of the answer.
