Miles wondered at how Rodolphus could already know about this whole fiasco, even as he had only been dealing with it today. Letting out a sigh, he nodded.
"Oh yes, I remember them." A little too well, actually. They were very... feisty girls, and he had to push aside some rather fond memories of them. But even as Rodolphus offered the solution, he was about to suggest that the timing was rather... coincidental. Judging from the speed at which Rodolphus was offering this solution, he suspected that it had been contrived this way.
He let the anger at that thought flare only for a second in his eyes, even as he put on a show of actually thinking about this offer. "That is rather generous, sir, and it would help out immediately." How could he say no, when the girls were practically being shoved under his nose, and Rodolphus was going to help pay for them.
"When do you think they'll be able to start?" He could cope with one night down on the profits, and it would be almost too good to be true that they could start tomorrow.
"Surely you didn't go to the effort of coming into town just to arrange this, sir?" Rodolphus could have told him all this from Greengrass Manor, at their next meeting. From the look in Lestrange's eye, he suspected that this was only the honey that he was being sweetened up with.
