Rodolphus knew that this little... kidnapping was really a very simple job that his most inexperienced underling could handle, but Adam was more than loyal, and far too discreet to muck this up.
He was not disappointed, then, when he was inspecting the repairs in Upper Slaughter, only to feel the apparition at the back entrance to the dungeons. Mere moments later, he followed in, and was pleased to see Pierson there, a very beautiful woman looking a little disoriented behind the bars.
Nodding at Pierson's greeting, he was pleased. "You have not displeased me," he said as he quickly dismissed the Death Eater.
"I need no more for now, you may leave us. Expect an elf to bring you your reward. I know I don't need to tell you to keep this to yourself." He didn't, but with traitors like that blasted Draco turning on them, he was starting to become more and more cautious.
He turned now to their new guest, his wand waving away the spells that kept her deprived.
"Well, well, well," he said as he paced in front of her cell. "My apologies, Ms Scawton, for the abruptness at which we had to escort you here, but we were unsure if you would come willingly. I wasn't prepared to take any chances." He gave her a warm smile, hinted only by a slight thread of malice.
