She was still, even after days (weeks now?) after, trying to figure out the whole Oliver visiting...situation; and a part of her expected an owl from him any day saying something along the lines of "just kidding!" or "april fools!" even though it was hardly April. Yet none was coming, in fact she hadn't had any owls. Not surprising, she hardly got them previous, but with the new 'decree'... She rolled her eyes at that.
She could only imagine what Kingsley would be saying if he was around for this atrocity that was the toad. The only solace was the end of a radio broadcast she could only assume had been from the man...Lee- he'd been talking about it- and it has somewhat sounded like him... No doubt Umbridge was up in airs about it, which made her grin rather sadistically, more power to whomever was doing it, be it Lee or no.
However, as she sat drinking a nice black coffee, both the children thankfully napping- when the owl came through, she was up in a moment, both entertained and annoyed by the prospect of what Oliver would have written. To find, as she opened it- it was Lee... Hestia bit her lip and chuckled at his words.
Lee,
I suppose it's slightly odd, but I'm more then happy to receive an owl from anyone that I could hopefully call a friend. Things have been... better, I think is the right word. Val still isn't adjusting well, she is very determined that her father is still alive, are at least in a state that he can be reached- and while I've been honest with her, she seems quite happy in her own thoughts and I don't know how to break them from her.
I hardly think you a stalker. Now, if I looked out my window and found you, we would have some words to go on about- but an owl is perfectly innocent, I think.
How is it with you? I hope you're doing just as well.
