To be perfectly honest, Miles was a little smug that he had been right, and no doubt, in the future, he'd remind her of this. He was tired, and this was just so overwhelming, and damn if he wasn't probably feeling her emotions through this bond. Why else would he be feeling so... emotional about it all?
He snickered softly. "I think I'd convinced myself a couple of weeks ago, so I was all prepared anyway." He'd resigned himself to the inevitable about it, and was happy that she wasn't angry at him for getting her in this way. "Guess I won't be needing those charms now, will I?"
"Strange food cravings?" He could handle that. When she said she was tired, Miles was glad. He was exhausted too, but all those things he'd pushed aside when she'd said she was pregnant were now coming back to him.
His eyes were already closed when she asked if he wanted to visit Goldstein. Opening one eye, he looked at her, his hand squeezing her hip just lightly as his voice softened. "If you want me to. I said I'd be there for whatever you need me for." When she said they could find out what it was going to be, his eyes went a little wider. "They can find that out, so soon?"
