“Oh, I don’t know about that…” Ginger said quietly, biting her lip, curling her hair with a finger again. “They are just more flamboyant, you’d caught the eye of quite a few people if I remember.” She had definitely been one of them, but her friends- well, she had already been on thin wire being a half-blood, there was no way she would have done anything to break the frail trust.
She smiled at him then, shrugging. “We were teenagers, what teenager really knows what effect their actions will take?” She bit her lip again, putting a hand on her hip, letting her green eyes meet his in a slow blink. “Sometimes something that’s funny ends up really hurting someone, but we were young- what were consequences then?”
