RP: Displeasure and Disappointment Date: 13 May 2006 Characters: Rodolphus Lestrange, Bellatrix Lestrange, Narcissa Malfoy Location: Greengrass Manor, Somerset Private/Public: Private Rating: PG Warnings: Angry Rodolphus Summary: Rodolphus is ... displeased ... with what he discovered about his nephew, and informs his wife and sister in law of the consequences of the boy's traitorous behaviour.
It seemed little could stand in the way of Rodolphus as he returned from Lestrange Manor. Storming through the halls of Greengrass Manor upon his return from learning about his nephew's little... indiscretion, he paid no heed to the elves in his way.
His wife had been right to be suspicious of the boy - why had they not investigated him further? If he had done this one act, who was to say that he had not had his hand in other traitorous activities? His first thought was to get Lucius to talk to the boy, but the thought trickled away as he felt the pang of loss for his staunch ally.
There would be pain, naturally, and then a confession, and then Rodolphus would truly let his wife loose on the boy. She wanted Snape as much as he did, and to have them pay for what they had done would be only the beginning of the pain they would suffer. His wife had to know about this, and in spite of his better judgement, he needed to tell his sister in law. She had always been faithful, and it would come as a shock to her, so close on the heels of her husband's death.
He stormed into his wife's rooms. That seemed to be where he found her most days. If he was lucky, then her sister would be with her. Lucius and Narcissa had spoiled that boy to the core - something he certainly wouldn't do with his own heir. He couldn't even blame this little rebellion on Lucius' death - the escape happening almost a year ago.
How the hell could a wizard stay that hidden for so long? The thought of that fuelled Rodolphus even further.
Without a care for the fact that his wife could be resting he stormed into her bedroom, his face thunderous. "It seems, my darling, that we have a rather grave problem. Where is that sister of yours? We have another traitor in our midst."
