'Concubine? Interesting choice of words,' Theo answered her calmly, pouring himself a second cup of tea. He smirked as he watched her over the rim of his cup. 'No, I would not expect you to be a concubine as you put it,' he said. 'If you agree to this however, I will not be just another client. In fact I will not be a client at all, but an employer of sorts.'
'And no, since you ask, I do not consider myself in control either. I find that any time you do, you start to slip, become too comfortable, lose whatever control you had from the start.'
He looked at her plainly, calmly, judging her reactions. It wasn't hard to see that her calm was forced. 'You honestly believe you do not need protection? That not all of us need protection?' he smirked. 'As far as I can see, there is no such thing as enough protection, but that's neither here nor there. What is, is your answer to my proposal - it's time to give one, and I'm not here to negotiate. Either you say yes or no, it's as simple as that. Of course if you need any more questions answered I'm happy to oblige.'
