Taking the cup from the air, she sipped softly, slowly, watching him over the rim of her cup. He was an attractive man, lean but with a strong jaw and deep eyes. As he finished off his own cup, turned back to her, she gave him a very tight smile, back straight and face blank. “When a opportunity presents itself…” she said softly; however, as he kept speaking she pursued her lips together, a perfectly thinned brow rose. “You abandoned them in a time of need and I am always one to strength my own fold.” She said with a simple quiet ease, taking another drink of her tea.
