The tea appeared the moment she'd agreed to it and Theo gracefully moved his wand to allow the tea to pour from the tea-pot.
'Sugar? Milk?' he asked pleasantly, fulfilling her wishes and levitating the cup over to her before starting on his own. During all of this, he watched her from the corner of his eye, far more aware of every expression she made than he looked. In fact he made sure to seem a bit too arrogant to pay too close attention. Disinterest, someone of intelligence would see too, but arrogance - from someone like him - was to be expected.
As he took his cup, he turned to her, looking at her carefully (openly this time), leaning back in his own chair, as if judging her properly only now.
'I hear you've been moving to create some new contacts, Miss Dorny,' he then said casually, but to the point. 'A wise move in times like these, I must say, though I am curious as to what gave you the idea that mine would be available without my consent.' His tone was pleasant, none threatening almost curious. He had no doubt she'd see the seriousness behind them however. The curiousness was not faked however, as he was rather curious to how she would react to such a blunt question.
